Teams are the backbone of the Komen Southwest Michigan Race
for the Cure®. Team captains have proven to be incredible
leaders in helping us make the Race more successful every
year and further our mission to end breast cancer forever!
T.E.A.M. means “Together Everyone Achieves More” and
leadership is essential to build a great team! You’ll
need at least 5 people to form a team.

ORDER CUSTOM TEAM T-SHIRTS
New this year, teams can order custom t-shirts with official Race for the Cure insignias. We have partnered with a local t-shirt company for discount pricing for you, if you wish to design and order your own custom team t-shirts. Top Team Award Categories
- Highest donation total from an organization with:
- More than 499 employees
- 200-499 employees
- Less than 200 employees
- Highest donation total from a school or church
team
- Highest donation total from a Friends and Family generated
team
- Highest donation total from a new team
- Team with highest percentage increase in donations
- Team with most survivors
Overall Winner: The team with the most donations overall
receives a “Team of the Year” plaque engraved
with the Team name to proudly display at home or in the office.
The team will also have their name engraved on the Perpetual
Plaque.
Rewards: Winning Team Captains will receive a certificate for a pair of
New Balance shoes, 35 tickets for the Grand Prize drawings,
and a $25 Gift Certificate.
Team Benefits: Every team will receive a handheld team sign, team photo and team captain gift.
Deadlines to be eligible for Team Prizes
Mail-in registrations and donations must be postmarked by Saturday, May 1, 2010
Online registrations and donations must be completed before 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 8, 2010
